Walter’s Cafe

Located in the Old Port since the summer of ’89, Walter’s searches the globe for bright menu ideas, creating dishes that fuse Asian, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and local influences with an emphasis on pasta and fresh fish. Whenever possible, Walter’s uses local purveyors for produce, meats and seafood. Walter’s wine list spans the world from the west coast of the United States, South America, France and Italy to the Land Down Under. We also offer a variety of beers from our favorite local breweries. The ambiance of the restaurant is created by exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and tucked away corners, which is enhanced with mellow pendent lighting and an attractive open kitchen. Dining is available in three rooms on two floors with bay windows overlooking the hustle and bustle of Exchange Street. Walter’s also offers a comfortable private function room for up to twenty-six people whether it’s a birthday party, family re-union, or a business meeting.
