The Farmer’s Table

a little about jeff landry jeff – the chef i am a native of maine and have had the pleasure of working at some great establishments along the coast. some of the places i have hung my coat are: * the harraseeket inn* cinque terre* eve’s at the portland harbor hotel. jeff – the organic farmer equally as important, to me, as the places i have worked are the things i have done away from the kitchen. for several years in the mid to late nineties, i was an organic farmer. this opened my eyes to the world of food in a way i had never experienced before or after.jeff – national chef of the year in 2007, i had the double honor of being nominated as national chef of the year for share our strength, a non-profit organization that works to end childhood hunger, and was awarded chef of the year for the state of maine.that’s jeff that is where i came from and that is what i’ve been doing. my hope is that everything i picked up along the way is reflected in our food and in our service.
