Since 2001, Café Twenty Eight has been Linden Hills’ neighborhood bistro. We are family owned and committed to sustainable agriculture and we have partnered with local farmers to provide organic, locally grown cuisine. We have partnered with Larry Schultz from Owatonna to bring you organic eggs and chicken, Tim Fischer from Waseca for our pork, and our grass fed steaks come to us from Thousand Hills Cattle Company in Cannon Falls. The burger we use for our hamburgers is always from one grass fed beef steer that is ground at Clancey’s in Linden Hills, the best butcher in the Twin Cities. Our selections of coffee and teas come from Coffee and Tea LTD. Jim Cone has been roasting coffee in Linden Hills since the 1970s. Our wine list offers a reasonably priced, hand picked selection – most of which are available by the glass. Our beer list is one of the best in the Twin Cities. We not only have Surly Beer (brewed by our co-owner, Todd Haug) on tap and in the can, we also offer a wide-ranging selection of award winning, Belgian and domestic craft beers.
