Northwest Grille has been providing the finest quality fish and seafood entrees in a friendly atmosphere since 1996. Our menu sets us apart from your average seafood restaurant— whether it’s our fresh, local seafood and fish, hand-crafted sauces or specialty desserts, we have something to please your palate. Meat lovers will enjoy our hand-cut steaks and vegetarians will love our locally produced tempeh. All guests are given 110% customer service and treated like family. Northwest Grille was originally opened by Don Regan and family in 1996. Immediately, head Chef Chris Fennell and team started transforming the tastebuds and seafood cravings of the Gainesville community. Almost 15 years later, Northwest Grille remains committed to its purpose of freshness and quality by hand-cutting fish daily. The difference can be experienced in every dish, including the made=to-order, hand-battered, fried seafood platters on the menu. We continue to be inspired by our local Gainesville community, from seasonal, organic foods and sustainable Florida seafood to our local artists. Supporting our local economy is important to us and inspires us to continue to partner with other local businesses such as our current ones: Jose’s Tempeh Shop, Popen Ranch, Sweetwater Coffee, Ponce’s Bakery, and more! Northwest Grille is dedicated to responsible fishing practices and the healthy stewardship of the world’s marine resources. Our procurement process is guided by the reports and recommendations of NOAA and issued government regulations. We regularly consult with distinguished conservation groups, such as Ocean Trust and our OSI Seafood Advisory Council, to help us employ best practices. In addition, we work closely with the local fishermen, from whom we source product, to promote environmentally sound fishing and aquaculture.
