Local Sprouts Cooperative

The mission of Local Sprouts is to provide people in Maine with creative, local and organic food, and holistic learning through cooking for our community. Local Sprouts is a new culinary and cultural organization that focuses on connecting people through sharing cooked food, mutual support, knowledge and developing local self-reliance. We provide creative local and organic food options through three main branches: Community Supported Kitchen, Cooperative Catering and Community Learning and Food. The ingredients in Local Sprouts food comes almost exclusively from Maine. Farms we support include: Turkey Hill, Freedom Farm, Fishbowl Farm, Snell Family Farm, After the Fall, 30 Acre Farm, and Crown of Maine Cooperative.
