Specializing in fresh seafood, the Naked Oyster Bistro & Raw Bar brings a chic, urban, but casual vibe to Hyannis.David Kelley, executive chef, knows many of the local fishermen and shellfishermen, and has teamed up with them to bring their products directly from the sea to his kitchen. He adjusts his specials menu weekly to reflect seasonal changes not only in produce and fish, but also in meats and fowl. The Naked Oyster boasts organic meat and hydroponically grown field greens. Local food suppliers are preferred whenever possible and The Naked Oyster even describes itself as “proud Cape Cod Localvores.” Menu items include a cheese platter (Great Hill blue cheese, Vermont goat cheese, pecorino & Gruyere served with fresh fruits & homemade jam); a BLT (apple wood smoked bacon, locally grown vine ripened tomats & native field greens wrapped in lavish bread with a touch of mayonnaise. served with cottage fries), and native baked haddock (fresh dayboat haddock from the cape cod fleet, baked with panko crumbs & served with lemon, roasted yukon golds & green beans). Open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:30am. Open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 4pm. Sunday brunch from 11:30am.
