Located in a century-old firehouse, Restaurant Alma prepares food with the best fresh, seasonal and organic ingredients available. We are committed to supporting local farms and conservation Co-owned and run by Jim Reininger and chef Alexander Roberts, the restaurant gets its name from the Spanish phrase alma del tierra, meaning “soul of the earth” and reflecting Roberts’s preference for organic foods and the flavors of the Mediterranean and heartland America. The menu changes frequently, but you can count on several meat dishes, some chicken, a vegetarian option or two, and fresh fish as well as a half-dozen soups, salads, and appetizers. Dinner is served beginning at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday
