Two brothers totally dedicated to quality. That’s the Mac’s Seafood story. It started with Mac and Alex Hay taking fishing trips with their grandfather off Truro when they were kids. They were taught the importance of, and gained an appreciation for, locally caught, fresh seafood. Their passion grew into a business. Those early experiences turned into a greater dedication to offering their customers a brand of quality and freshness that’s hard to find in today’s flash-frozen world of seafood production. Mac’s is committed to supporting local fishermen, seeking distinctiveness, freshness, and flavor. The family has believes strongly in knowing where your fish comes from and for this reason, has an “unwavering standard of quality that you can see and taste.” Mac’s consists of 2 restaurants in Wellfleet (one featuring fine coastal cuisine, sushi and raw bar, the other, “hyper-casual” takeout fare), and two seafood stores: one behind the Wellfleet takeout restaurant, and another in Truro Center.
