The People’s Pint

The People’s Pint is a microbrewery and bistro, located in Greenfield. As much as possible, we serve foods grown or produced locally and raised organically. Many of our dishes are oriented around seasonal New England fruits, vegetables and meats supplied by local farmers. Our potats are from Whately, and the beef burgers come from grass-fed, naturally raised cows a few hills to the west in Shelburne. We enjoy freshly baked bread from Green Fields Market and often we serve organic farmstead cheese from Warwick on our special ploughman board. We have brewed over 70 styles of beer since opening in 1997. Our beers are brewed with 100% grain, water, yeast, pellet & fresh leaf hops. We do not use corn sugar, rice or dry malt in any of our beers. Most of our beers have over 50% organic grain – some have over 90%. We add honey, orange peels, spices and other adjunct ingredients to some of our specialty beers, use ale (or top fermenting) yeast, and tend to follow traditional British brewing styles. Brewery tours for groups are available by appointment.
